Your guide will be waiting for you at Medan airport to visit the Maimum Palace, the Mesjid Raya Great Mosque and the Vihara Gunung Timur Buddhist Temple. We will drive about 4.5h through palm oil plantations to Bukit Lawang (Gunung Leuser National Park). Arrival at the hotel (showers are simple, with a traditional Indonesian shower with cold water). To get to the hotel, the porters can help you for a tip of about $ 2.00 / bag.

Hotel A/B/C: Eco Lodge or Rindu Alam Hotel 2*

In a 2 or 3 hour trek you will experience the adrenaline rush of seeing wild orangutans come down from the trees to see you. We will also try to spot Thomas Leaf monkeys, long-tailed, pig-tailed monkeys, flying squirrels, peacocks, hornbills and others. You will return to the hotel by the river mounted on donuts. We recommend that you bring trekking shoes, raincoats, anti-insects and an airtight bag for the camera, money, etc. The accommodations are simple, where in the shower and the toilet there is cold water that must be added with a saucepan.
